People For Wildlife has worked with the Gudang-Yadhakenu people to sell these mushrooms to Australian restaurants. This has included all aspects of mapping, harvest, packaging, food safety, transport and sale.
 
We are now examining options to expand and regularise this business.

People For Wildlife has discovered two new species of mushrooms deep within Australia’s most northerly rainforest.
 
These mushrooms are species of Chantarelle – a well-known culinary delicacy.
